Otto in Autumn

Hello Friends and Happy Sunday!  I'm getting caught up on Autumn cards and have a quick share today featuring the adorable Otto, who is playing in the crunchy leaves.  He's a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil and you can find him HERE.

I have to laugh at his face, due to the way I've colored his eye area, he looks very devious!  That wasn't my intention but it is Halloween season, so maybe it suits him.  I've colored him using Copic Alcohol Markers, and cut the focal panel using a fancy stitched edged nesting die from Pink Fresh Studio.

The wooden background paper is from a P13 mini mat stack and the patterned paper is a scrap from a Carta Bella 6x6 paper pad.  The digi set includes the sentiment and a leafy background paper, I've used the sentiment and cut using a nesting circle die from Kat Scrappiness.  The focal and sentiment have been popped on foam pads.  Lastly, I've added orange enamel dots and called this card complete.

I wish you a fabulous day, until next time, Happy Crafting!

Classic Design Challenge #10-2025 - Oct/Nov 2025

Hi Friends and Welcome Back!  Today begins a new challenge month at The Classic Design Challenge Blog, where it's Always Anything Goes with an Optional Twist.  The Twist this month is:  Autumn Splendor.  Our generous sponsor for this challenge is Rachelle Anne Miller.

I've colored the adorable Canadian Beavers Digital Stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller and semi-stayed with the optional Twist by using Autumn patterned papers.  These little nuggets are just too adorable!

The patterned papers are from the "Welcome Fall" 6x6 paper pad from Carta Bella.  I only have scraps left of this lovely paper pad so I'll need to make some Quilt cards, but I digress...

After coloring the image, I cut out the focal panel using a fancy stitched oval nesting die from My Favorite Things and popped on craft foam for dimension.

The sentiment is from an older and now retired stamp set from Cardz TV.  The sentiment strip has been cut using a die from My Favorite Things and popped on craft foam.  Lastly, I've added Wink of Stella to the leaves and the Beaver's noses, of course Wink never shows on camera!

We hope you'll come by the challenge and join in this month!  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Beautiful Blossoms Challenge #34 - Oct/Nov 2025

Hello Friends and Happy Wednesday!  Today begins a new challenge month at The Beautiful Blossoms Challenge Blog.  The challenges are Always Anything FLORAL Goes with an Optional Mood Board for Inspiration, and Florals must be the Focus of your design.

I'm usually inspired by and decide to use the optional mood board, and I have done so this month as well.  The mood board for this month is:

I love the combination of colors in this mood board, so for my design team project, I've colored images from the "Breezy Bouquet" Stamp Set by Memory Box using Copic Alcohol Markers.

This is a large floral image, which made it easy to color and I also like the large sentiment, both of which were cut out using the coordinating dies.  I've made a frame using nesting stitched rectangle dies from Kat Scrappiness, and backed the image with a distressed Polka Dot panel.

Before arranging everything on the card panel, I've splattered the florals with Dr. Ph. Martin's Pen White Ink. I like this ink because it stays true white when dry; it doesn't pick up any of the colors underneath.

Lastly, I've popped the sentiment on foam pads and added blue gems.  In hindsight, I should have colored both florals orange, but the yellow does break up the color palette and adds interest.

We hope you'll stop by the challenge and join in this month!  We always love visiting everyone and being inspired by your floral designs.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Autumn Leaves Frame

Hello and Happy Saturday Friends!  I hope you have something fun planned for today, doing what you enjoy.  I have a quick share featuring a lovely digital image from Alex Syberia Designs titled Autumn Leaves Card Panel.

I've colored the image using Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Alcohol Markers, and I like how the vivid colors really make the images POP.

As the name suggests, the image is sized to print out as a card sized panel, and I've resized just slightly in order to add a thin black mat behind. The panel, as is, prints as a A2 size (4.25"x5.5"), I've created the sentiment on my computer and inserted it before printing the panel.

To finish the design, I've splattered with Gold and White Posca Paint Pens, no other bells and whistles were added.  It was a fun and relaxing color, and I'm happy with the end result.

That's all from me today, I'm off to get housework done (YAY me) and then settle in for a bit of crafting this afternoon.  It's an overcast and rainy day here so time at the craft table will be welcome.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Dreamy Autumn Silhouettes

Hello Friends and Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is progressing nicely, here in Florida it has done nothing but RAIN! The up side to that is I've had a bit more time in the craft room.

I do have a quick share for you today featuring the Autumn Silhouettes Stamp Set from Gina K. Designs (it's an oldie but goodie).  I bring this set out every Autumn season because it creates the prettiest cards.

I don't often create square cards but it's nice to switch things up once in a while.  I've masked off the edge of the scalloped die cut panel and ink blended Catherine Pooler inks in one corner and up the side.  After the ink dried, I stamped the silhouette image.

I've cut a black mat and adhered all to a 5.5" card base.  I trimmed a premade sentiment strip, from Simon Says Stamp, and popped on craft foam, and lastly I've added clear gems to finish it off.  I wish you the best day, I hope you get up to something wonderful!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

The Inspiration Station Challenge - Photo Prompt #78 - October 2025

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Monday!  I hope your weekend went well and you enjoyed doing something you love.  Me?  I made cards, finished a few Crochet projects and watched Western Movies (I love John Wayne and Clint Eastwood).

Today begins a new challenge month at The Inspiration Station Challenge Blog, where you take your inspiration from a photo prompt and tell us how the photo inspired your design.  This months' prompt is:

What a wonderful Cornucopia of Autumn fruits and veggies, and I had to dig deep into the stash to find something I was happy to use for my DT project; I was directly inspired by the fresh fruit and veg.

I came across the Pears and Pomegranates Stamp, Die and Washi Tape Sets from Pink Fresh Studio.  For my card, I've used the Washi Tape and Coordinating Dies to create the pretty fruit die cuts.

I've cut 2 panels, one in gold mirror card and the other in a rust color that matched the pomegranates.  The gold panel was cut using the Hemstitch Rectangle Die from Spellbinders, the rust panel was embossed with the Tile Reflection 3-D Embossing folder from Spellbinders.

The sentiment, from the Pears and Pomegranates Stamp set, was stamped and heat embossed using Copper Fine embossing power, cut with the coordinating die and popped on foam pads.  The washi tape die cuts were arranged and some were lifted on foam pads for extra dimension.  Lastly, iridescent sequins from the stash were added as a finishing touch.

The team and I hope you'll join us this month and share your inspired projects.  We love seeing all the creativity and inspiration.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

The Paper Funday Challenge - October 2025

Happy Wednesday Friends!  Wow, it's October and Autumn is here, hopefully you are experiencing cooler weather and seeing lots of beautiful Fall Colors.  Today begins a new challenge month at The Paper Funday Challenge Blog.  Our generous sponsors this month are Varada Sharma Designs and Scrappy Tails Crafts and our Optional Twist is: Cute or Creepy.

For my design team project, I've used images from the Fairy Botanicals Stamp and Coordinating Die Sets by Scrappy Tails Crafts, to create a cute Autumn card.

I've colored the image using Copic Alcohol Markers and the patterned papers are from the "Fall Fun" 6x6 paper pad by Carta Bella.  I've also followed Sketch #10 by Mary at Cardz TV, and you can find all her FREE sketches HERE

After die cutting the image, foam pads were added and adhered to the oval die cut mini panel.  The sentiment has been popped on craft foam as well, and is from an Autumn sentiment strip pack from Simon Says Stamp.  Lastly, I've added gold sequins to finish off the design.

I forgot to mention that I've scored a line around the perimeter of the brown mat to add a bit more interest, and it also helped me line up the squares.

We hope you'll join us at the Challenge this month, and share your crafty creations. You may even want to try the Optional Twist of Cute or Creepy.  So, until next time, Happy Crafting!
