Not 2 Shabby Critter Pops

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Tuesday!  Today is my last DT project for the Not 2 Shabby Digital Design Team.  It's been so much fun this last 3 months and the time flew by!

I'd like to share this  bright and colorful card created using one of the images from the Critter Pops Stamp Set from Not 2 Shabby.  This set is the June 2022 Stamp of the Month and has a matching die set.

I've colored the image with Alcohol Markers and the papers are stash snippets from Recollections and Color Bok.  I love the summer color combination of orange and pink, it's cheerful and happy.  Since the Pop is a Unicorn, I went with a Rainbow theme.

The layering banner die is from Alina Craft on Amazon and the sentiment strip was cut using a die from Kat Scrappiness.  The Critter Pop and sentiment have been popped up using craft foam.  Lastly, I've added black licorice twine and clear gems.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time, Happy Crafting!

I Heart U

Hello Crafty Friends!  Today begins a new challenge round at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and our sponsor this week is Sheepski Designs.  For my design team project, I've colored up a lovely Unicorn for a Valentine's Day card.

I've colored the Unicorn Image No. 186 from Sheepski Designs using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers for my landscape A2 sized card.  The papers are from the American Crafts "St. Valentine" 6x6 paper pad, the heart dies are the Stitched Fancy Scalloped Heart Dies from Kat Scappiness.

I've layered everything on a 110 lb card base, popped the smaller hearts on craft foam for dimension and added Passion Pink Pearl Embellishments from Kat Scrappiness as a final detail.

The Day of Love is approaching fast....have you started your Valentine's Day cards yet?  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Cardz 4 Galz - Hearts

Hello and Happy Thursday!  Today is the start of a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz Challenge Blog.  The theme for this round is Hearts and using the colors Red, Pink or White.

This time of year, I am crafting for Valentine's Day so my design team project reflects the holiday along with all the theme elements.

The card is a standard A2 size with designer papers from the Recollections paper pack titled Love and Devotion.  The Unicorn face is a Cricut Design Space cut from the cartridge Unicorn Hair, Don't Care.  This cut would also make the cutest T-shirt!

We hope you will join us at Cardz 4 Galz for the challenge.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Also, the 6th of February will start a new challenge month at The Paper Funday Challenges.  The theme for February is Love and there is a Twist of the colors Red, Pink and White.  Please join us there also!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Creatalicious Challenges Design Team Project - Unicorns Lil Bellyfulls

It's my design time at Creatalicious Challenges and the wonderful sponsor for this challenge is Lacy Sunshine.  The challenge has an optional twist which is Circles.  For my design, I used the Unicorns Lil Bellyfulls image to create a sweet birthday card.

This card is very colorful and cheerful; perfect for a birthday.  There is a lot of room for creativity with this design since the images are whimsical.  Going with that in mind, I colored jeans on the top unicorn.  In hindsight, I should have colored the legs the same as the body but it is fantasy after all.

I colored the image up with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and did use the optional twist of a Circle to mount the focal image; also used foam squares for dimension.  This card measures 5" x 5" and is tent (top) folding.

I hope you've been inspired to join us at Creatalicious for challenge #147, hope to see you there!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
