Summer Fun with Little Miss Muffet

Hello and Happy Saturday Everyone!  I hope all is well with you and yours and you've been having a great time crafting and creating.  Today is a short post sharing a swap card I created using a Little Miss Muffet digital stamp I've had in my stash.  She's ready for Summer with her Popsicle, Bathing Suit and Float.

The papers are from the Echo Park Good Day Sunshine 6x6 paper pad, I colored the image using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and added some Yellow Gemstones to complete the card.

She turned out pretty and cute, I hope my swap partner will like my card.  I'm ready for some Pool time but have to wait for the thunderstorms and lightening to pass...it's been an everyday occurrence this week.

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog - Guest Designer Project #4

Hello and thanks for visiting me.  Today I'm sharing my final Guest Designer Project for the Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog.  I've had such a great time designing this month and I've had the pleasure of working with some awesome digital images.

For this weeks' challenge, I created this card using a sweet image from this weeks' challenge Sponsor Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  Her name is Pippa and she was a joy to color up with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

This is a card size I don't typically make; it's an A-6 which is 4.5" x 6.5".  Lately I've been experimenting with different sizes and not sticking with the standard A2 size.  I'm pleased with how this card turned out and I really like the size.

For the challenge, there is also a sketch to follow and I took a lot of inspiration from the sketch but did stray from the placement of the sentiment because I just didn't want to cover Pippa at all.

I hope you will join in the fun over at Sketch Saturday and enter for your chance at winning some sweet images from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Little Miss Muffet Customer Appreciation - Guest Designer Project

I've been chosen as a Guest Designer for the Customer Appreciation Celebration at the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog and today I would like to share my first design.  I'm using a sweet digital stamp by Little Miss Muffet Stamps named Wyleen.  She is playing in the snow, making a snow angel...just too adorable.

She's been colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and die cut with a fancy oval die from my stash.  The card base is also a die and the purple mat has been embossed with the Cricut Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I've also added some Crystal Nuvo Drops for an added wintery touch and heat embossed the sentiment "Let It Snow" on Vellum.  Wyleen needs lots of snow for more snow Angels.

Please stop by the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog and join the fun!  We hope to see your creations.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Pool Weather

Hello Everyone!  Hope you're having a great Friday!

Today I'm sharing another sweet image I colored with my new Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.  I feel like a kid again, coloring and enjoying every moment of it.

This image is from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I thought so appropriate for summer.  It's been in the high 90's here in Florida this past week so swimming has definitely been in order.

I colored her with the following Spectrum Noir colors:
Skin:  TN2, FS2, FS3
Sandals and Suit:  DR3, DR5, IG4
Flower:  PP3, PP5, PL1, GB5
Float:  LV1, LV2, CT2, CT4
Hair:  EB2, EB5, GB8

The card measures 5" x 5" and the embossed mat was colored with Distress Oxide Ink in the color Wilted Violet.  I also used a border die for the lace sides and a Fiskars corner punch for the circle details on the focal image.

I'm pleased with how she turned out although I feel I need more practice on the hair.  I'll be coloring all weekend and hopefully my technique for coloring hair will improve.

Thanks for visiting and until next time, Happy Crafting!
