Happy Birthday Tulips

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Thursday!  I have a quick share today featuring layering dies, a cover die and a pre-foiled sentiment.

I've received this layering floral die set from a friend recently for my birthday.  I believe it's the Into the Blooms: Tulips from PaperTrey Ink.  I've die cut the pieces using white card and ink blended with Catherine Pooler Inks.  The cover die is the Peek-a-Boo Polka Dot from My Favorite Things

Everything was assembled and arranged on the card front.  I've popped the flower heads up using craft foam and added Gold Coast Glitter Drops from Nuvo.  The sentiment is from a pre-foiled sentiment pack by Pink Fresh Studio.

That's all I have for you today, thanks for stopping by to visit me.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Sending You a Little Note

Hello and Happy Thursday!  I hope your week is going great, the weekend is in sight.  Today's make and share features die cuts and a few elements from the Spellbinders "Let Your Heart Soar" Card Kit.

The card kit contained chipboard frames, dimensional embellishments, a pretty 6x6 paper pad and a nice stamp set with lovely sentiments. I created a Friendship card using elements from the kit and items from my stash.  For a final touch, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Black and Gold Sequins.

A quick make that's ready to be filed in my "Go-To" card stash for when it's needed.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Holiday Chaos at Bugaboo Stamps

Hello and Happy Saturday!  Today begins a week of fun called Holiday Chaos at Bugaboo Stamps.  There will be themes and prizes each day and Grand Prize Winners at the conclusion.  Today's theme is "Reindeer Games" and for my project, I created a fun card featuring a lovely Reindeer Duo that fits the theme of today's post.

This card measures 5.5" square, the papers are from the Carta Bella "Christmas Market" 6x6 paper pad, image colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, focal panel trimmed out using the old school scissors that create decorative borders and a Sakura Glitter Pen used here and there for sparkle.  For a final touch, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in the color Ivory Seashell to create the illusion of snow fall.

We hope you'll visit the Bugaboo Challenge Blog  December 12th - 20th for Holiday Chaos.  There will be loads of inspiration featuring old and new digital images and loads of prizes!  See you there!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Rustic Noel

Hello and Happy Sunday!  It's a rainy Sunday here in Central Florida, so what better day to craft and work on Holiday Cards and Tags.  Today's make and share features a Snowflake from Gina K. Designs, Rustic Designer papers and heat embossing.

This card measures 5.5" square, I stamped and using fine detail gold powder from Ranger, heat embossed a Snowflake from the Gina K. Designs Sparkle and Shine Stamp Set.  The sentiment is from the same set, which I stamped in Gina K's Red Velvet ink.  The papers are from The Paper Studio "Rustic Noel" 6x6 paper pad.  For finishing touches, I added Nuvo Crystal drops in Copper and Gold ribbon.

Have a wonderful day and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Weeds and Wildflowers

Hello and Happy Wednesday.  Gosh..October is marching right along and I can see the holidays right over the hill....Yikes!  Today's make and share features a lovely silhouette of wildflowers and ink blending.

I used the Gina K. Designs Autumn Silhouettes Stamp Set and Distress Oxide Inks to blend a simple and quick card for a buddy swap.  I love the sentiment and the colors are a bit different than the traditional Autumn colors.  I am very pleased with how the inks blended together, which is a trait of the distress oxides that I appreciate; ink blending can be tricky business.  For a final touch, I added water splatters and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Clear to create added interest to an otherwise simple card.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Witchy Poo

Happy Saturday All!  Today's make and share features more of my "shopping my stash" items.  Yesterday I posted about going through my stash this weekend to find things I haven't used in a long while and/or forgot about create with.  I came across this Witch die so I created my first Halloween card for 2020.

I started by dry embossing a white panel with an old Halloween themed embossing folder.  I then ink blended over the embossing with Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Dusty Concord and Black Soot.

I die cut the Witch and a Stitched Circle to represent the moon.  Splattered water and diluted Black Soot ink over the entire panel, stamped a sentiment from the Cardz TV set "Mini Messages" and for a final touch added Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops.

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

Hello Friend / Flower Child

Hello and Happy Labor Day to my visitors in the States and Happy Monday to everyone!  Today's make and share features an A2 card using the new Gina K. Designs Flower Child Stamp Set,  heat embossing and ink blending.

I started by stamping and heat embossing the large Floral image and sentiment which are both from the new stamp set.  I ink blended Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon, Twisted Citron and Salty Ocean over the images and once dried, added Nuvo Crystal Drops in the color Simply White.

Fun card to create and the colors are lovely.  I hope you enjoyed today's make and share and until nect time, Happy Crafting!
