Stampin' Pretty PALS Blog Hop - August 2024

Hello Friends and thanks for stopping by! Today is the Stampin' Pretty PALS Blog Hop and our theme this month is: My Summer Vacation.

My summer vacations usually include water, either in the pool or at the beach, so for my Hop project this month, I've used the new Stampin' Up Seaside Wishes Stamp and Die Bundle along with the Country Woods Designer Series Papers to create a card that best represents my Summer holidays.

Included in this bundle is a hybrid embossing folder that fits the sand dollar dies, which enables you to emboss and cut, I love that! After embossing/die cutting the shells, I very lightly blended Summer Splash, Old Olive and Peach Pie inks over them to highlight the embossed textures. I've also stamped and die cut 2 starfish, using Crumb Cake ink.

I think the designer series papers give the perfect Coastal vibes. I've stamped the sentiment using SU Pebbled Path ink and popped on dimensionals, along with the shell cluster. And of course, I've added a nest of Linen Thread behind the shell cluster and splattered everything with white acrylic paint for added interest. To finish everything off, I've completed the inside with a few starfish and bubbles.

Stampin' Pretty PALS Blog Hop - July 2024

Hello Friends and thanks for stopping by! Today is the Stampin' Pretty PALS Blog Hop and our theme is: My Favorites from the Catalog.

I had a difficult time deciding which new Stampin' Up set to use for this hop, I have quite a few favorites from the new 2024 Catalog. I've decided to showcase the new "Magnolia Mood" set, along with designer series papers from the Nature's Sweetness 12x12 paper pack.

For my card, I've used the Magnolia Mood Bundle, which includes the stamp set and coordinating dies. I love the details of the stamped images, they have a vintage vibe to me, and of course I adore Magnolias.

Included in the die set are extra leaf dies, which I've cut from kraft, tan and gold mirror card. The floral image as been colored using alcohol markers and cut using the coordinating die.

I wanted to keep the flowers as light as possible and went with a bolder leaf color, I'm happy with the contrast. Also, the designer series paper (DSP) used to ground the focal image has gold splatters, which are printed on the papers, so no need to add splatter manually, love that too since I'm a huge fan of splatters.

I've kept the inside simple, only stamping a smaller magnolia at the bottom left corner. I've left the card without an inside sentiment, once I decide what occasion I will need this card for, then I will stamp a sentiment.

Stampin' Pretty PALS Blog Hop - June 2024

Hi Crafty Friends and Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! I've been invited to join a huge list of talented Stampin' Up Demonstrators in this Hop, and I'm honored to be here.

This month, the theme is the new 2024-2026 In Colors. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

The new 2024-2026 In-Colors are: Petunia Pop, Peach Pie, Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock and Pretty in Pink. My project features the cheerful Petunia Pop.

I've created a Triple Fun Fold card using the 2024-2026 In-Color Designer Series Papers, along with the new Wildflower Designs Stamp Set and Petunia Pop 8.5 x 11 card stock for the base. I was inspired by the lovely card created by Tami White, and followed the instructions she generously provided on her blog HERE.

To keep the card closed, I've created a belly band and highlighted the design with a pretty satin ribbon and tag.
