New Release Day #2 at Kat Scrappiness

Hello Friends!  It's Day 2 of the New Release Party at Kat Scrappiness.  Today, the products being featured on the blog are Autumn and Christmas Themes.  For my card today however, I'm sharing another Halloween card I created using some of the new release products that were featured yesterday.

I've created a Mini Slimline Shaker Card using the new Boo-gy Ghost Dies, Boo to You Slimline Paper Pad, Eek and Trick or Treat II Halloween Sequin Mix, Happy Mail Mini Slimline Envelope Die Set and the Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped Nesting Die Set.

New Release Day #1 at Kat Scrappiness!

Hello Crafty Friends!  Are you ready for some Autumn and Halloween crafting?  I am and have been busy creating some fun designs.  That brings me to announcing a new product release at Kat Scrappiness!  The release features some fun Autumn and Halloween products just perfect for your crafting this season.

For my card today, I created a cute and spooky Mini Slimline Cemetary scene using Dress Up Quokkas Stamp Set, Dress Up Quokkas Coordinating Dies, Halloween Costume Add On Stamp Set, Crafter's Essentials Halloween Dies and the Happy Mail Mini Slimline Envelope Die Set.

The images and costumes were colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, the background was inked using Distress Oxide inks and the die cuts were cut from colored cardstock and hilighted with complimentary distress inks. 

These two spooktacular characters are out for a stroll through the Cemetary!  For some reason, the scene is spookier than these adorable Quokkas!

Hello Sunflowers and Sunshine

Good Sunday to you!  I hope your weekend has been great so far and if you're having a holiday tomorrow, I wish you lots of enjoyment.  Today's make and share features a Trio of Sunflowers.

I've made a Mini Slimline card measuring 8"x4" with Sunflowers from the Spellbinders Fun Stampers Journey Hello Sunflower Stamp Set.  I stamped the smallest of the sunflower images 3 times and colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.  I die cut the images with a circle die and mounted them on foam pads.  The sentiment, from the same set, was heat embossed and mounted on foam pads.  I adhered all to a card base with mats from 12x12 single sheets of designer papers from Hobby Lobby.  Lastly, added twine and sequins for a finishing touch.

Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers and it's sad the stalk only produces one bloom then it's done.  Sunflowers say Summer and Fall to me.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!
