Inspiration Station Challenge #40 - Harvest

Happy Monday Everyone!  I hope your weekend was lovely.  Today starts a new inspiration challenge round at The Inspiration Station Challenge Blog.  The inspiration photo for this bi-weekly round is:

For my team project, I've used the A World of Octobers Mini Stamp Set from Picket Fence to create a fun fold card.

I was directly inspired by the pumpkins in the photo. After stamping and coloring the images using alcohol markers, I trimmed in very close to create a mini panel.  I did the same with the sentiment, which is part of this stamp set.

The patterned papers are from the "Celebrate Autumn" 6x6 paper pad from Echo Park.  I left the section behind the front fold blank as a place to write a sentiment.

To complete the design, I've added 2 shades of golden sequins.  I usually forget to create fun fold cards, mainly because I'm always trying to stay ahead of team projects, but I do love them and plan to make time to create more of them.

Please stop by and join us at The Inspiration Station Challenge.  We always love to see how the photo inspired you.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Reverse Confetti Autumn Blessings

Hi Friends and Happy Thursday!  Today I'm sharing a card created with the most recent Reverse Confetti and Simon Says Stamp Collab Stamp set - Autumn Blessings.  This was a Stamptember purchase and there are coordinating dies.

I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and die cut with the coordinating die.  The papers are from the Echo Park "Celebrate Autumn" 6x6 paper pad, the polka dot strip is a snippet from my stash.

I've popped the focal image on craft foam for dimension and stamped the sentiment; which is from the same stamp set, using Catherine Pooler "Icing on the Cake" dark brown ink.  For the finishing touch, I've added golden sequins for that bit of sparkle and shine I love.

A new feature I will share from time to time will be a Manicure of the Day.  I'm an Independent Color Street Stylist and trying to build my business.  In case you're not familiar with Color Street, they are 100% nail polish strips that enable you to have a manicure in minutes.  If you would like to see what Color Street has to offer, click on the Manicure picture and you will be taken to my shop.  If you would like a FREE sample, please fill out the Sample Request Form HERE.  Any questions, I'm delighted to answer!  Thanks in advance for Supporting my small business!

New Challenge Month at The Paper Funday

Hi Crafty Friends!  Today begins a new challenge at The Paper Funday Challenges and it's Always Anything Goes with an Optional Twist.  The Twist this month is Autumn/Fall and our generous sponsors for the month are Jan's Digi Stamps and Colour of Love.

For my design team project, I've used the Emmi Lou Boo's Autumn Leaves image by Colour of Love.

This is an adorable image and I had a great time creating this card.  I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, used papers from the Echo Park "Celebrate Autumn" 6x6 paper pad and a sentiment from Cardz TV.

I love Autumn, it's my favorite time of year and the funny bit is - we don't have Autumn in Florida.  During my husband's military career, we lived in areas of the country as well as overseas that did have 4 seasons.  The colors of Autumn are always so rich and vibrant.  My kids loved hayrides, apple orchards, trick or treating, candied apples and bon fires...so lots of great memories associated with this time of year.

Thanks for visiting today and I hope to see you at the Paper Funday Challenges this month!  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Hello and Happy Monday!  I hope everyone is well and had a wonderful weekend.  Today begins a new challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies with the challenge theme being Anything Goes.  Our generous sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps and it's always a pleasure working with their images.

For my design team project, I used the clever Ruby Thanksgiving which is part of Bugaboo's Monthly Calendar of images.  This image represents the month of November and I'm still finishing up Autumn and Thanksgiving cards, so I couldn't resist using this image.

My Ruby is a Southern Lady; she reminds me of my momma when the Bouffant hair-do's were popular.  My momma went to the Beauty Parlor every Friday and came home with her hair stiff with hair spray and piled up HIGH!

I created the sentiment in my Word Processing Program as I didn't have one with the "y'all" and that was a must for my Southern Ruby!  The DSP is from the Echo Park "Celebrate Autumn" 6x6 paper pad.  I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and added some sequins for sparkle.  What type of Pie do you think she has made?  If it were my momma, it would be Apple.....Hot Apple Pie with a big scoop of French Vanilla Ice Cream on top!

Please visit us at Pammie's Inky Pinkies this week and play along with us in the challenge.  We would love to see your creations.  Until Next time, Happy Crafting Y'all!

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and the designer papers are from the Echo Park "Celebrate Autumn by Lori Whitlock" 6x6 paper pad.  I die cut the focal image with a decorative scallop die, the sentiment banner was created using a sentiment included in the paper pad and gold sequins were added as a final touch.

Pumpkin Harvest

Hello!  I hope you're well and ready for the weekend.  I've been busy preparing for the Q4 Holiday Shopping Rush (I'm Retired but an Online Seller) but made time to create some projects this week.  Today's make and share features Pumpkins from the Gina K. Designs Haunts and Harvest Stamp Set.

I stamped and then colored the images with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. cut out with the matching dies and mounted on a scalloped die cut focal mat.  The designer papers are from the Echo Park "Celebrate Autumn" 6x6 paper pad.  I wanted some visual interest so I cut the mat diagonally and added sequins for sparkle.  Lastly, stamped the sentiment; which is included in the stamp set, created a banner and called this A2 card complete.

Thanks for visiting!  Until next time, Happy Crafting.
