Candy Cane Greetings from Jan's Digi Stamps

Happy Monday!  It's time for mid-month inspiration at the Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge Blog.  Jan has released 3 new sets this month:  Harvest Blessings, Santa's Coming and Candy Cane.  My card today features the Candy Cane image and a sentiment from this set.

I've colored the image using Prismacolor Pencils, the patterned papers are from the " A Lumberjack Christmas" 6x6 paper pad by Echo Park.  I've also added thin strips of silver mirror card as an accent to the mini panel.

The image and greeting have been fussy cut, then popped on foam pads for dimension. Lastly, I've added clear sequins for an extra bit of festive sparkle.

Please stop by the challenge blog and have a look how my teamies have used the other new release sets this month.  And while you're there, enter this months' challenge!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge - Lumberjack Snowman

Hello Friends!  It's the 1st Monday of the Month and that equals a new challenge at the Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge Blog.  Our themes are Always Anything Goes and today, my design team card features a Lumberjack Snowman!

Before I get to my card, I would like to remind everyone of the Monthly Sale that is currently going on at Jan's Shop.  Several new sets are on sale until Christmas Day and Jan is offering a FREE set also.  So please stop by and check out the sale and get your Free Set!

The snowman image comes from the Snowglobe Family Digital Set.  This set contains 5 pre-colored images, 5 B/W line images and 5 sentiments.  I colored my snowman using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and gave him a Lumberjack look, then fussy cut him and set aside to work on a background panel.

I created a panel for my snowman to live on by smooshing Strathmore Watercolor card into various diluted shades of pink and red distress inks.  Using a Kat Scrappiness Stitched rectangle die, I cut the panel and mounted on craft foam for dimension.

The designer papers are from the Echo Park "A Lumberjack Christmas" 6x6 paper pad, the cardbase is 110 lb. Neenah Solar White Classic Crest card and embellishments from the Kat Scrappiness Sparkling Snow Pearl Mix have been added for extra interest and shine.

We hope you'll join us at Jan's Digi Stamp Challenge this month.  We hope to inspire you with our designs and can't wait to see your makes.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!
