Gardening Teddy

Hello Friends and Happy Sunday!  I hope you're weekend has been enjoyable and your weather sunny.  I have a quick share for you today featuring a sweet Teddy Bear working in his garden.

The upcoming Spring Season has my Mojo working overtime.  While looking through my stash, I came across some vintage woodblock stamps, and this Gardening Teddy Bear was one I was delighted to find.  Can you believe this stamp is from 1999?  That's 25 years old!

It's from the Rubber Stampede Company, and I'm not certain if they are still in business.  I can't believe I still have this sweet stamp and it still stamps like a champ!

I've colored the image using Prismacolor Pencils.  The focal image has been cut with a fancy edged oval die from Kat Scrappiness, and adhered flat to the card panel.  The patterned papers are from the "Summer Splash" 6x6 paper pad by Pink & Main, the sentiment is from Cardz TV.

For additional interest, a small banner was hand cut, popped on craft foam, the sentiment was also popped on foam.  Finally, a few blue faux gems added for sparkle.

That's all for today.  Have a fabulous day and week ahead.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Tumble Tizzy Pastimes

Good Sunday to You.  I've sat down for a crafting minute to work on some cards and I wanted to share my Tumble Ted card with you.  He is from the Tumble Tizzy Pastimes Collection that I've had in my stash for quite some time.  I have been revisiting some of the items in my stash and working with them lately.  All of the images in this CD ROM kit are adorable and there are so many.

He's named Tumble Ted, I assume, because he's clumsy (see the bandage on his face).  Also, he's a popular children's character in the UK.  He's just cute no matter and an easy color.

The papers are from the American Crafts Everyday 6x6 paper pad, I colored him with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and added some white gel pen accents.  Simply card by my standards and I'm pleased with how the card turned out.

Have a great day and until next time,  Happy Crafting!

Butterfly Bear

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers and to All Who Mother.  I hope your day is full of Love, Family and Flowers (or Chocolate)!

Today is a quick post featuring the Butterfly Bear by Bugaboo Stamps.  Easy and Quick color using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.  Card is the Standard A2 size.

I fussy cut the image, mounted on a die cut embossed and scalloped panel and used 2 different designer papers.  Added the sentiment which I heat embossed with Copper powder and stamped on Cloud die cuts, added some gold sequins and called this one complete.

I hope you have a wonderful week ahead and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges - I Love You Beary Much

Hello, hope your holidays were joyous!  We're back and it's time for a new challenge at Penny's Challenges.  The sponsor for our challenge this week is the sweet MMedel Illustrations.

For my design team project, I had the opportunity to create with one of the Valentine's Day images, I Love You Beary Much.  This image isn't just limited to Valentine's Day though, it would be great for a Birthday, Thinking of you, Mother's Day, Father's Day; any occasion you can imagine.  I just love this little bear with his or her arms outstretched...…

I have colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, used some digital papers I had in my stash and added a bow, Wink of Stella and Crystal Nuvo Drops for accents.  I hope you think this little bear is as cute as I do.

Please stop in at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges this week and join in the fun.  Also, please visit the new challenge blog The Paper Funday Challenges; a monthly challenge blog for all things paper.

I hope you've been inspired and until next time, Happy Crafting!
