Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Star Stampz

Hello and Happy Monday!  I hope your weekend was nice and you had the opportunity to enjoy some nice weather.

Today starts a new challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies with the theme of Anything Goes.  Our sponsor this round is the lovely Star Stampz and Sarah creates some adorable digital stamps.  For my design team project, I had the pleasure of creating an Autumn Card using the My Sweet Sunflower digi stamp.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and the designer papers are from the Echo Park "Celebrate Autumn by Lori Whitlock" 6x6 paper pad.  I die cut the focal image with a decorative scallop die, the sentiment banner was created using a sentiment included in the paper pad and gold sequins were added as a final touch.

Please stop by and join the fun this week and Pammie's Inky Pinkies, we would love to see your creations.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Bugaboo Saturday Challenge - Photo / Color Inspiration

Hello to You and Happy Saturday!  I hope you're well and ready to join in the Bugaboo Saturday Weekly Challenge.  I'm a Surprise Guest Designer for October and for today's challenge, the Theme is Photo/Color Inspiration:

I had a great time creating a fun Tag for my design team project this week.  I used the Bugaboo Brat Basketball Boy image and colored the image to match the colors in the inspiration photo.  I also blended a background using Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Faded Brick, Dried Marigold and Fossilized Amber.

It's a sweet tag that can be used for a Birthday Present, Christmas Gift or any time you just want to let someone special know they are an All Star.  We hope you'll join us this week at Bugaboo for one of the many challenges they have going on.  It's a great opportunity to win some cute images.

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

Harvest Wreath - Thankful, Grateful, Blessed

Hello and Happy Fri-YAY!  I had a little time on my hands today so I created a different take on a wreath.  Today's make and share features Autumn Stamps, Distress Inks and a Wreath Builder Template.

First, the inspiration for the card came from a Jennifer McGuire You Tube video.  I used the Gina K. Designs Wreath Builder Template and the Autumn Wreath Builder Stamp set to create an off-set wreath.  I started with a 5" square piece of card that I would trim down to fit my A2 sized card; I like the look of images going off the edge.

I haven't taken the plunge to invest in a line of colored Dye inks for stamping and blending (I'm waiting for hubby to ask for my Christmas list) so I used Distress Inks in various colors; I have the entire line of the Distress Inks.  For a final touch, I added tiny Gold Gems for interest and sparkle.

Thanks for visiting and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Pumpkin Harvest

Hello!  I hope you're well and ready for the weekend.  I've been busy preparing for the Q4 Holiday Shopping Rush (I'm Retired but an Online Seller) but made time to create some projects this week.  Today's make and share features Pumpkins from the Gina K. Designs Haunts and Harvest Stamp Set.

I stamped and then colored the images with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. cut out with the matching dies and mounted on a scalloped die cut focal mat.  The designer papers are from the Echo Park "Celebrate Autumn" 6x6 paper pad.  I wanted some visual interest so I cut the mat diagonally and added sequins for sparkle.  Lastly, stamped the sentiment; which is included in the stamp set, created a banner and called this A2 card complete.

Thanks for visiting!  Until next time, Happy Crafting.

For my GDT project, I chose Sparkle (Stickle Glitter Gel on Balloons), Bugaboo Image and Button.  I also Bingo'd with Dots and Stripes, Bugaboo Image and Die/Punch.  I had a blast with this project and I do hope you'll play this week in the Saturday Challenge at Bugaboo Stamps.

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

Have a Bee-youtiful Day

Good Morning and Happy Fri-YAY!  Today's make and share features Bees, Ribbon, a Flower and an Autumn Vibe.

The images are from the Beautiful Bees Stamp and Coordinating Die Set from Gina K. Designs.  To color the images, I used Dried Marigold, Carved Pumpkin, Fossilized Amber and Peeled Paint Distress Inks as Watercolors.  The designer paper is from the 12x12 Jen Hadfield Warm and Cozy paper stack and the center white panel has been embossed with the Cricut Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Mosiac.  For a final touch, added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Clear, loads of Wink of Stella and a pretty ribbon with bow.

The sponsor this round is Knitty Kitty and I had the opportunity to create my team project using Balloon Kitty.  I chose to create a Birthday card with Autumn Colors.

The designer papers are from the DCWV "Playful Pets" 6x6 mat stack, I colored the images with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, added layers using die cuts and Judi-Kins Diamond Glaze on the colorful dots.  Such a cute image and it was fun to color up.

Please join us this round at Colour Crazy Craft Challenge for your chance to win some fun images from Knitty Kitty.

Weeds and Wildflowers

Hello and Happy Wednesday.  Gosh..October is marching right along and I can see the holidays right over the hill....Yikes!  Today's make and share features a lovely silhouette of wildflowers and ink blending.

I used the Gina K. Designs Autumn Silhouettes Stamp Set and Distress Oxide Inks to blend a simple and quick card for a buddy swap.  I love the sentiment and the colors are a bit different than the traditional Autumn colors.  I am very pleased with how the inks blended together, which is a trait of the distress oxides that I appreciate; ink blending can be tricky business.  For a final touch, I added water splatters and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Clear to create added interest to an otherwise simple card.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Hello everyone and thanks for visiting.  Today begins a new challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies with a theme of Anything Goes.  Pammie is sponsoring this round with a Gift Certificate to  Newtons Nook for the winner.  What a Great Prize!

For my design team project, I created a Spooky Halloween card using stamps and matching die cuts from the new Gina K. Designs Haunts and Harvest set.

The designer papers are from the DCWV "Witches Brew" 6x6 mat stack.  I die cut a circle and created a dotted background with finger daubers, a new pencil eraser and distress inks.  I also cut 2 banners out of the designer papers.  I heat embossed the Kitty and the Bats for that extra shine and boldness but it's hard to see that in the photo.  Finally, I added a few Orange Sequins for that sparkle and shine.  I think this Kitty is too cute to spook!

Please join us this week at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and enter your creations for a chance to win an awesome prize to spend at Newton's Nook.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Swirling and Twirling Leaves

Good Sunday Morning!  Today's make and share is my style of CAS which is not my preferred style but now and then it's good to try something out of your comfort zone.  I had another play with the new stamp set Autumn Silhouettes from Gina K. Designs Fall Release.

I wanted to give the illusion of leaves floating and swirling in the Fall Breeze, and this design was inspired by watching one of Gina K's You Tube videos.  I masked off the middle area of the card and blended Aged Mahogany, Carved Pumpkin, Peeled Paint and Brushed Corduroy Distress Inks.  I then stamped the images and sentiment with Versamark Onyx Black and this card was complete.  I did not add any sparkle, card candy or sequins...just a CAS card for Autumn.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

The Paper Funday Challenges - Hetty Clare

Hello and Happy Wednesday.  Today begins a new challenge at The Paper Funday Challenges  with a theme of Anything Goes and Optional Twist of Halloween.  Our sponsor this month is the fabulous Hetty Clare and I had the pleasure of using her Pony Cross Country digital image in my design team project.

I created an A2 sized Autumn card and colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.  I used 12x12 loose papers I purchased at Hobby Lobby for the Mat and Banner.  I used Kraft card as my base and backed the designer papers with a brown card.  I kept everything simple, letting the cute image take center stage, only adding 3 golden gems in the lower right for accent.

We hope you'll join us this month at The Paper Funday Challenges.  Please stop by to see what the other Design Team members have created and enter your own project for a chance to win.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Just for You Wreath

Hello and Happy Tuesday Evening....yes, it's evening at the time of this posting, I've just had the opportunity to share today's make.  It was a quick and easy Note Card measuring 5" square with a little back story to go along with it:

A few months ago, the Hubby talked me into going with him to a local Flea Market and Swap Meet.  After walking a few aisles, I came across an elderly couple that had what appeared to be loads of crafting supplies on their tables.  I found a box of silicone stamps sets that, of course, were not of great quality but I thought, why not.  I'll go through them and what I don't want, I'll gift to the Hospice Charity Shoppe.  I also just wanted to contribute to the couple; they were so sweet.

I paid practically nothing ($20 US) and the box must have contained at least 50 small sets of various stamps.  I used the Wreath Builder Templates from Gina K. Designs to create a small floral wreath with one of the sets in the box.  I colored the images with my Alcohol Markers, used an embossing pen to apply embossing ink to the center of the flowers so I could emboss them with Gold powder.  For a final touch, I added 3 pieces of card candy and called this little notecard complete.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Autumn Silhouettes

Good Sunday to you.  It's a rainy, dreary day here in Central Florida...no Sun at all, so it's a great day for crafting.  Today's make and share features Autumn leaves from the newest Gina K. Designs stamp set Autumn Silhouettes, a die cut and Distress Oxide Inks.

I created the focal panel by stamping leaf silhouettes using Distress Oxide Inks and mixing the colors of Crackling Campfire, Fossilized Amber, Bundled Sage and Stormy Sky to give them Autumn colors.  I created the dots with a new pencil eraser dipped in the inks.  I die cut the panel using a large Postal Stamp die I have in my collection and backed with two colors of textured card.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set; I used Archival Ink in the color Potting Soil, which I though was less harsh than Black ink.  For a final touch, I added 3 small faux pearls for added interest.

Thanks for visiting, Happy Fall and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Surprise Designer at Bugaboo Stamps

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday!  I've been invited as a Surprise Guest Designer for the month of October at Bugaboo Stamps! Those who know me know Bugaboo is my Favorite Designer so you can imagine how surprised and excited I was to be invited!  For my team project, I had the pleasure of creating a Halloween themed card for the Anything Goes themed Saturday Challenge.

For my project, I used the Frame It Witch & Frog digital image.  This was a fun image to color up using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.  I mounted the focal panel on foam pads for a bit of dimension, die cut a scary bat, used designer paper from the Paper Studio, stamped a sentiment from a really old set in my stash and accented the image with Wink of Stella.

Please visit the Saturday Weekly Challenge at Bugaboo Stamps to see the other awesome team projects and enter to win your choice of some fun Bugaboo images.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

The Pumpkin Trio

Hello and Happy Fri-Yay!  Today's make and share features the Pumpkin Trio digi from Bugaboo Stamps.  It was a quick, easy and fun coloring project that I used to create this A2 sized Halloween card.

I used Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers to color the images, the designer papers are from the loose 12x12 paper section at Hobby Lobby and the sentiment, which was heat embossed, is from the Gina K. Designs Haunts and Harvest Stamp set.

I kept the embellishments simple, only adding Wink of Stella Sparkle Pen to the Sunflowers and the middle Punpkins' teeth.  I love the look on his face, the entire digial image is so cute and Bugaboo is a big Fav of mine.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

You're Spooktacular

Hello and Happy Thursday...the 1st Day of October.  Wow...it's been a whirlwind, these months flying by.  I'll be sharing Christmas cards before long....shhhhhhhh!

Today's make and share is another spooky card featuring a slimline profile, die cutting, heat embossing and the Haunts and Harvest Stamp Set by Gina K. Designs.  This stamp set was part of her Fall Release and came in a huge card kit.

The spiders are from the stamp set; I stamped and heat embossed them and cut out with the matching dies.  The bat is a die I have in my stash from a few Halloweens ago along with the alphabet dies.  The spooky branches are from a Crafters Companion Fall die set and the designer papers are from Hobby Lobbys' loose 12x12 papers.  The slimline base and frame are also dies I was gifted earlier this year by a dear friend from overseas.  The card base was created using Gina K. Designs Sweet Mango cardstock.

For a finishing touch, I added orange sequins for a bit of All Hallows Eve sparkle.  I hope you like my whimical/scary card and will visit again soon.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
