Krafty Chicks Challenge - Christmas

Hello Friends and Happy Thursday!  Today begins a new challenge at the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog and I'm back with another Guest Designer project.  The theme this week is Christmas.

For my GDT project, I created a slimline card with lots of embossing and sparkle, perfect for the holidays!

My card features the Holiday Tapestry stamp set from Gina K. Designs and embossed using Sparkle White Embossing Powder from Simon Says Stamp.  It is truly hard to photograph the sparkle in this embossing but trust me, it's sparkly, glittery and just lovely.  I used Silver mirror card to create mats and a card base of 110 lb. Neenah Solar White Classic Crest cardstock.

Blue Winter Flourish

 Hello and Happy Thursday.  Today's post is a short and sweet one featuring a Winter Wishes / Holiday card featuring a sweet winter bunny and heat embossing.

 The image topper is from The Paper Pantry Vol. III titled A Sprinkle of Winter.  I die cut the image from the larger topper with a circle die and mounted on foam pads.  The background was created by heat embossing a stamp from the Gina K. Designs Holiday Tapestry set and inking over the entire panel with shades of blue Distress Oxide inks.  The final touch was adding a ribbon, bow and clear Nuvo Drops.

Good Morning and Happy Saturday.  Today's make is another Tag Card featuring Gina K. Designs, Heat Embossing, Ink Blending and Designer Papers.

Black isn't a color usually associated with Christmas but I've noticed a trend of non-traditional holiday colors being used in decorating and crafting this year so I thought I would give it a go.  

I stamped an image from the Gina K. Designs Holiday Tapestry Stamp set on a Tag dies cut that is from Gina K. Designs also, the heat embossed it using Simon Says Stamp White Sparkle powder.  You cannot see how sparkly the embossing is but it's lovely, perfect for a holiday card.  I ink blended over the stamping with Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink then added Nuvo Drops in White.

The background paper is from the Echo Park "My Favorite Christmas" 6x6 paper pad, the ribbon from my stash, the fancy circle die cut was given to me in a swap and the sentiment is from the Gina K. Designs Ornamental Snowflakes Stamp Set.
