Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday! It's time for another challenge at Creative Knockouts. The theme this round is "In Stitches" meaning use stitching in your project; faux or real. The sponsor for this round is The Artsy Stamper on Etsy and I had the pleasure of using the digital stamp set Lily's Tea Party. It's a cute set and one that has many uses. For the stitching requirement, I created two lines of faux stitching around the perimeter of the card.
Please visit us at Creative Knockouts this week for your chance to win some sweet digis from The Artsy Stamper.
Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges - Anything Goes
Hello and Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges. The challenges are now bi-weekly and the sponsor for this round is Fred, She Said Designs. The theme is Anything Goes and I had the opportunity to use a pre-colored set titled Dahlia Sets. Since they were pre-colored, it made creating this large Tag for my design team project quick and easy.
We hope you'll join us this round at Penny's for your chance to win some awesome digis from Fred, She Said Designs.
Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Creative Knockouts Challenge - Celebrations
Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday. Today starts a new challenge at the Creative Knockouts Challenge. The theme this week is Celebrations and our sponsor is the fun Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. For my design team project, I used Mobility Malcolm to create a cute and whimsical Birthday Card.
This card measures the standard A2 (4.25" x 5.5"), I used digital papers I had in my stash and created the sentiment on the computer, then printed it out and backed with brown card.
I added dimension to Malcolm by popping him up on foam pads as well as the striped card. I colored him up with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. I'm pleased with how Malcolm turned out; he looks happy to be out and about...I wonder where he is going?
We would love for you to join us this week at Creative Knockouts. Enter your Celebration creations for a chance to win 2 digital images from Dr. Digi.
Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges #462 - Anything Goes
Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday. Today begins a new challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges and also a new schedule for the challenge itself. Starting with this challenge, the challenge schedule is now every 2 weeks instead of weekly.
Our sponsor for this round is the lovely Pattie's Creations. I used her image Fondant Cake for my design team project, creating a pretty Birthday Card for my stash.
This card measures the standard A2 (4.25" x 5.5"). The designer papers are from a Simple Stories paper stack. I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and fussy cut the image. I die cut some balloons out of scraps, added some clear sequins and called this card complete.
Please stop in a join us for the challenge at Penny's. You now have 2 weeks to complete your projects and enter for your chance to win some of Pattie's Creations.
Until next time, Happy Crafting!

The Paper Funday Challenges - January #13 - Anything Goes with a Twist: Friendship
Happy New Year Everyone! It's 2020 and I wish you and yours the best year ever!
Today starts a new challenge at The Paper Funday Challenges with a Theme of Anything Goes with an Optional Twist of Friendship. The sponsor this month is Star Stampz and I had the pleasure of using the image Fairy Throne for my design team project.
Although the image is intricate, it was fun to color up and not that difficult or fiddly. This card is a tent fold, A-6 (4.5"x 6.5") card. I kept the embellishments simple as the coloring was the showcase. I added some sequins for some sparkle along with some Wink of Stella on the Fairy Wings and her Sheer Wrap.
Please join us this month at The Paper Funday Challenges and inspire us with your work. There is also a Design Team Call so if you would like to join a great group of ladies, please email me at: dlflowers64@gmail.com with some examples of your work and a little information about yourself.
