Monochrome Seasonal Blooms

Hello Friends!  Today I have a short post sharing a quick and easy monochome card created using cardstock, an embossing folder and ink blending.

Using the Seasonal Blooms 3-D Embossing folder from Altenew, which was part of the Craft Your Life Kit for July , I embossed a 6" square panel of black card and trimmed it slightly to fit on a 6" cardbase.  I blended Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink over top to enhance the raised areas as well as create a ethereal background.

To finish, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the stamp set included in the kit and mounted on craft foam.  Before adhering the strip to the card front, I splattered the panel with Dina Wakley White Acrylic Gloss Spray.  I quite like the look of this card, it reminds me of a garden in Twilight, under a star filled sky.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
