Stampin' Up Demos Fun Folds Blog Hop - June 2024

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!  It's the 4th Tuesday of the month and that means the June 2024 SU Fun Fold Blog Hop is today!  I've been invited to join this fun hop, which features Fun/Fancy Fold projects created by a group of Independent Stampin' Up Demonstrators, and I'm honored to be joining in!

For my card today, I was directly inspired by Meg at Loven Stamps, with her Double the Fold, Double the Fun Card, and the tutorial can be found HERE.

I've used the new Latte Love Bundle along with the A Little Latte Designer Series Papers. There's a HUGE secret with this Designer Series Paper - there's a die included in the die set that cuts out the coffee cups from the paper, so making this card was especially quick and so easy!

AND....until the 30th of June, all Bundles are an extra 10% off.  Bundles are always 10% off, so it's like you're getting 20% off the total price!

I've added a plain panel on the left side for a place to write my message.  On the front side of the flap, the sentiment and one latte cup have been popped on dimensionals.  If you're a Newbie at Fancy Folds, or just want to create something with WOW factor, this is a great one to create.

Following is the list of Blog Hop Stops.  We invite you to hop through, there is loads of talent in this hop and I'm confident you'll be inspired by all the fun folds.  Also, I've included a list of products used below, if you are interested in purchasing, you can find me at the Stampin' Up shop by searching for a Demonstrator and entering Donna Walls / #2302441.  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Hopping!

Summer Social Hop with Rubberstamps.com

Happy Monday Crafty Friends!  Today the Design Team from Rubberstamps.com is having their Summer Social Hop on Instagram.   For the Hop, I've created 2 cards using the Chillin' With My Peeps and Let's Fly a Kite Stamps Sets.  Both of the sets have FREE coordinating SVG files for your electronic cutting machine.

For my first card, I've kept it fairly CAS and colored the images, from the Chillin' With My Peeps, using Prismacolor Pencils.  I've stamped the sentiment and chicken prints before embossing the panel with the Chicken Wire Embossing Folder by Cricut Cuttlebug.

I've fussy cut the images and popped all on craft foam for dimension.  Lastly, I've added a Baker's Twine Bow to Mama Chicken.

My second card features images from the Let's Fly a Kite set and I've colored them using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.  The patterned papers are snippets from a paper pad by Recollections.  I've die cut the focal image using nesting circle dies from Kat Scrappiness, then popped on foam pads along with the sentiment strip.

Lastly, I've added enamel dots and Baker's Twine accents. I would like to mention this set is currently on offer for $6.49 US, that's 50% off the regular price.

The team and I would like to invite you to join us at The Summer Social Instagram Hop HERE.  Leave a comment at each stop on the Hop for your chance to win a Summer Stamp Bundle!

Cheerful Daisies

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Saturday/Crafturday!  It's going to be a very rainy day here (thanks to Tropical Wave Invest-92 L), so I plan on a crafty afternoon.

Today I have a quick share for you featuring the Cheerful Daisies Stamp and Die Bundle along with the Country Woods Designer Series Papers, both from Stampin' Up.

I've die cut the flowers for that 3-D effect and lightly inked the centers.  The leaves and sprigs are also part of the set, I've cut the springs using silver mirror card.

I've followed a sketch from Operation Write Home by Sandy Allnock and you can find all the free sketches HERE.  I love using sketches to jump start my creativity or when I need a quick layout.

The floral cluster and sentiment label, which is part of this die set, have been popped on craft foam, and I've added black gems to complete the design.   Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you find some crafty time this weekend.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Classic Design Challenge #6 - Jun/Jul 2024

Hi Friends and thanks for stopping by.  It's a busy Saturday and today begins a new monthly challenge at The Classic Design Challenge Blog. Our generous sponsors this month are Di's Digi Stamps and Mirtillamente.  The theme of our challenges is Always Anything Goes with an Optional Twist; the Twist this month is Fancy Folds.

For my DT project this month, I've colored the cute Le Pine Malley Summer digital image from Mirtillamente using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

I've decided to use the Twist this month as I've been on a fancy fold kick lately and this is an easy one to create; I've followed a tutorial by Tracy Bradley HERE.  I've used patterned papers from Kat Scrappiness and added die cut clouds along with a die cut Palm tree that has been colored with alcohol markers.  The inside of the card contains an additional greeting, both sentiments are from Cardz TV.

We hope you'll join in the fun at The Classic Design Challenge this month. We love seeing everyone's designs and if you're up to it, try a fancy fold, they can be quite addicting.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Beautiful Blossoms Challenge #18 - June 2024

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!  I hope you are doing well and enjoying comfortable weather.  It's been a scorcher here in Florida, so our Father's Day plans this weekend include swimming and air conditioning.

Today begins a new challenge month at The Beautiful Blossoms Challenge Blog.  Our optional mood board photo is a gorgeous mixture of warm, summer colors:

I let the colors in the mood board inspire me this month and I've used the "Blooms & Wishes" Stamp Set from Stampin' Up for my card today.  This is an older set that I found at a great price while shopping eBay, so it's a "new to me" set.

Using the new 2024-2026 In Colors inks from Stampin' Up; which are Peach Pie, Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink, Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash, I've stamped a background of pretty florals.  The sentiment is from the Blooms & Wishes Set, the card base is Peach Pie.

I've accented the piece with gold string from Fun Stampers Journey and did some doodling by adding tiny dots with the Stampin' Up Write Markers in colors that match the inks used in my stamping.

The team and I hope you'll pop in and join us at The Beautiful Blossoms Challenge this month.  We love seeing everyone's creativity.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Stampin' Pretty PALS Blog Hop - June 2024

Hi Crafty Friends and Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!  I've been invited to join a huge list of talented Stampin' Up Demonstrators in this Hop, and I'm honored to be here.

This month, the theme is the new 2024-2026 In Colors. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

The new 2024-2026 In-Colors are:  Petunia Pop, Peach Pie, Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock and Pretty in Pink.  My project features the cheerful Petunia Pop.

I've created a Triple Fun Fold card using the 2024-2026 In-Color Designer Series Papers, along with the new Wildflower Designs Stamp Set and Petunia Pop 8.5 x 11 card stock for the base.  I was inspired by the lovely card created by Tami White, and followed the instructions she generously provided on her blog HERE.

To keep the card closed, I've created a belly band and highlighted the design with a pretty satin ribbon and tag.

There’s more inspiration to show you, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Please mark your calendars for the blog hop next month (July 10th), when our theme will be Our Favorites in the New Catalog.  You can find the list of products I've used today, complete with item numbers, at the end of this post.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Take to the Sky

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Sunday!  I hope your weekend is going well and you're staying cool.  It's a bazillion degrees here in Florida, with severe storms in some areas so I've spent most of the weekend indoors and around my craft table.

Today, I'm sharing a fun masculine card design that I've created for dear hubby's Father's Day.  I've combined some new products from Stampin' Up and I'm quite pleased with the results.

I've followed a card sketch found on Pinterest, I like to use card sketches when my mojo is less than 100%, they seem to get me motivated.  The image has been simply colored using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, then die cut and popped on foam pads.

I didn't want to do a sentiment strip, so I had the idea to use a postage die and stamp on that.  The postage die came to mind when I think of how my happy mail gets to my buddies overseas.  The patterned designer series papers are from a 12x12 paper pack by Stampin' Up.

Lastly, I've added textured dots to complete the design.  You can find all the supplies I've used here:

Thanks for stopping by today and until next time, Happy Crafting!
